these are nice to touch for kids and adults who perhaps have sensory processing disorder or blindness. also babies to feel. but do not walk on them without socks. they hurt. they are so firm. I wish they were softer so you can sit and walk on them. they are not as thick as I thought they would be nice overall they are cool and unique to add to the playroom
